Quiet

“’My, oh my,’ the grandfather said, ‘Everything is in such a hurry.’” Birds fly so fast. Dogs rush after their balls. Frogs leap high and then plunge into ponds. Even the trees wave their branches wildly in the wind. Everything is so busy, busy, busy. But, if we sit and rest for a moment, things start to slow down. Dogs get tired and start dreaming. Dragonflies still their wings to rest for a beat. The world grows quiet and we can think and watch and enjoy all the wonders around us. We can be at peace.
